Luke 6:38

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

This verse has been perverted by people who want you to believe faith in God is a pyramid scheme.

This verse is not about God making you rich or owing you any money.

It's not about God owing you anything.

It is about our duty to bless others.

To help those in need, as much as we can, with what we have.

God asked Moses what he had in his hand.

God can use what we have, do not worry about what we do not have.

Maybe you only have a little give, all the riches of the earth are God's.

Maybe you don't know all the Bible, God has all wisdom.

You only have a little time to give to help someone, God has all eternity.

Your effort may not feel like enough, God is all powerful.

Remember it is not all up to you, but trust in God that your effort will make a difference.

The Lord will add to what we can do, to make it an even better blessing.

God is the ultimate source; we are just doing our part in love and faith.

In return, when we give and share what we have, God blesses us.

He blesses our lives in so many ways when we follow Him.

These blessings can take so many forms and they worth so much more than silver and gold.

Don't limit God to material things.

Don't limit your blessings to the temporary things of this world.

Understand that God blesses us beyond what we can think.

So, give, be blessing.

Give time and effort and love to help others, not just money.

These are the sacrifices that please God.

Our small blessings we share here are nothing compared to the blessings the Lord will give us in eternity.
